I just discovered the work of Paul Behnke through a Pinterest post linked to Ms. Pressman’s blog. I’m blown away by Mr. Behnke’s mastery of saturated color, his odd spaces/no spaces, and by the variety of gentle textures his brush makes. Someday, perhaps, I’ll see his work in person. His artist’s statement is brilliant, for those of us who make those kinds of things.
